• এ বছর প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা হবে ৪ বিষয়ে মোট ১০০ নম্বরের। এক দিনেই ২ ঘণ্টার এই বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে উপজেলা সদরে। প্রতিটি বিদ্যালয়ের পঞ্চম শ্রেণির বাছাই করা ১০ শতাংশ শিক্ষার্থী এ পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেওয়ার সুযোগ পাবে। অন্যরা এ সুযোগ পাবে না।

• প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তর সূত্রে জানা গেছে, বাংলা, ইংরেজি, গণিত ও বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ে হবে এ বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা। প্রতিটি বিষয়ে ২৫ নম্বর করে মোট ১০০ নম্বরের পরীক্ষা হবে। এক দিনেই ২ ঘণ্টায় হবে এ পরীক্ষা। বিদ্যালয়ের পরীক্ষায় যে ১০ শতাংশ শিক্ষার্থী এগিয়ে থাকবে, তারাই এ বৃত্তি পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিতে পারবে।

• প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি পরীক্ষার তারিখ নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ২৯ ডিসেম্বর ২০২২ ।
• এক সময় বাছাই করা শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে হতো প্রাথমিক বৃত্তি পরীক্ষা। সেটি বাদ দিয়ে ২০০৯ সালে প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরের অধীন পঞ্চম শ্রেণির শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য শুরু হয় প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা সমাপনী (পিইসি) পরীক্ষা। এতে সব শিক্ষার্থীই বৃত্তি পাওয়ার প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশ নিতে পারত; যদিও পিইসি পরীক্ষা নিয়ে ছিল সমালোচনা।

Who Will Get PSC Scholarship 2023?

Here is the discussion in different points on who would get selected for the PSC scholarship.

• The first 30,000 students who have done the best result in the PSC exam would be selected for the talent pool scholarship.
• In the general quota, every 6 students (three boy students and three girl students) would get scholarships in each of the union parishads/municipal wards which is a total of 47 thousand and 676 scholarships.
• Every 3 students would get the general scholarship from each thana/Upazila (one boy student, one girl student and one on the basis of merit).
• From the remaining 297 general scholarships, every four more students (two boy students and two girl students) in each district will be given another 256 scholarships in a total of 64 districts.
• The total number of scholarships is 82,500.
